Pamper your dad for father’s day

Father’s day is coming. And your gift most likely has something to do with sports. At least that’s my plan for my dad. But one problem I’ve faced when planning a fantastic Father’s Day is that I want it to be memorable. I don’t want him to be confused with all the other sporting events he has been to over the years. It should stand out, mean something, and make you smile when you think of that day. So here are some ideas that I came up with to make sure you get the full sports events / Father’s Day experience that you deserve.

o Foam Finger: Yes, this is imperative. The foam finger is a fan favorite and a classic to have in a game. In fact, if you’re the one going to the game with him, make sure you get one too. You can both be goofy and have a good time cheering and managing your favorite sports teams, whatever they are.

o Face painting: As with the foam finger, this one will be a lot of fun. If you are really brave, try to convince your dad to wear body paint too. Let me tell you; You will definitely remember your sporting outing if you wear enthusiastic body paint supporting your team.

o Nasty hot dog: Well, you might enjoy them. But honestly, they are part of the experience of going to sporting events. It just wouldn’t be the same without the infamous low-quality hot dogs.

o Tailgate party: Depending on your father’s preference, you can make this something important or just something for both of you. Either way, they will surely have a great time, enjoying each other’s company.

o Sports selection: Do some research and get your dad a selection of baseball bets or something. You will enjoy following you and seeing how your team is doing.

o Kodak Moments: Take tons of pictures. It will be easier to remember the memories with pictures. Make sure you get doubles, one for you and one for your father. Hey, if you really want to get soft / sentimental (depending on how you look at it), frame the photos and give them to your dad for the second part of the father’s day gift.

o Take care of all the details: This may go without saying, but let your dad have a carefree sporting experience. Take care of everything, all the planning. Let him relax and enjoy. After all the stress you had to endure putting up with your children, you deserve a relaxing moment, right?

Show your father that you care and are grateful for all that he has done for you and continues to do for you. In a sense, pamper your dad.
