Staying Healthy Prevents Illness: Do You Really Stay Healthy?

Hello everyone, my name is Kyle and I am going to share with you what I have learned about the misperception that you are living fit rather than living fit.

A year ago, living in shape for me was going to the gym 3 days a week and working my arms, legs, chest, the usual. I only went to the gym because it was the masculine thing and a lot of people did it. It also “kept me in shape,” at least that’s what I thought. I started to wonder if I was actually living a “healthy” lifestyle during the winter. For the third year in a row I got very sick and ended up hospitalized. Some of you may experience the same conditions. All I thought was that I got sick from the cold. Little did she know that there were many more reasons why she was hospitalized. For days I would sit on my bed with trouble breathing that I thought was due to asthma. This turned out to be incorrect.

While wondering to myself, I ended up doing extensive research on what can make people sick in winter. It ended up being that winter really didn’t have much to do with it. My doctor asked me what I was eating at the time. I told him almost anything that meant a lot of fast food that has very little nutrition. He told me that was the problem. Many health-conscious people know that going to the gym doesn’t mean you’re healthy. Being healthy is more about your diet than anything else. You can’t go to the gym 3 days a week and not limit yourself to the amount of unhealthy food you eat. It turns out that an unhealthy diet will make your time at the gym show nothing. At first I denied believing that the food I ate made me sick, but I tried to change to see the difference.

The following year I followed a strict diet. This means that there is no McDonalds, Wendys or any other fast food restaurant you can think of. I also ended up buying some training equipment so I could stay home for my workouts and see if it would help me stay out of the cold. Enough said, I found a website with reviews on some workout equipment that I found and on it, it said that my body would perform better with the type of training provided. I ended up buying two of the kits shown on the website. Buying two was useless because they do the same thing, but I decided to turn off every day. Every day I exercised for about an hour on these machines and decided to see what results I would get. Please note that this is winter again.

The first thing I noticed was that I felt most alive during the winter. Winter was a very slow time for me. I’m not sure if it was a seasonal depression or just my body reacted to the food I ate. The next thing I noticed was that over time I was able to spend an hour and a half to two hours on these machines. The last thing I noticed was that I was getting stronger and able to handle more resistance. But the bottom line was that I didn’t have a single cold even once that winter. Still doubting my doctor, I thought I was lucky that some stubborn humans like me had.

Before spreading the news, I ended up keeping quiet about this because I didn’t want to appear stupid to my peers. I know many other people who get sick every winter like me and they didn’t want to waste time with what I thought was a miracle. Decided to try this one more year. The following year I had the same diet and exercise routine, except that I kept exercising throughout the year. The following year I got exactly the same results. I was more alive, I was getting stronger and I didn’t get sick. So that’s why I’m sharing this with you: to help others who went through the same struggle as me. Try this routine and see if it helps.
