Thailand – The land of tourism

Thailand is an amazing kingdom with many Buddhist temples, marvelous palaces, beautiful beaches, exotic wildlife, beautiful spas, and much more. Thailand is well known for its unique culture that includes delicious ‘Thai Seafood Delicacies’. Thailand is a destination that attracts all kinds of travelers, whether they are hippy chic or lovers of luxury. And you can find the ever-attractive value packages that give you the best sightseeing, diverse shopping, and tasty gourmet.

Another reason that makes Thailand attractive to tourists is that the people are friendly and helpful in every way. Maybe it’s because of the traditional greeting ‘el Wai’, which is when a person bows with folded hands, or because of the Thai motto ‘Mai Pen Rai’ which means ‘Don’t worry’.

Thailand has three main seasons: the dry season, the hot season, and the monsoon season. The country is packed with tourists during the dry season because the temperature does not exceed 90 degrees. It is during the hot season that tourists flock to the super sunny beaches. During the monsoons, most of the people prefer the northern parts of Thailand because there are chances of the island being flooded.

There are more than 40,000 Buddhist temples in Thailand. Travelers will surely find at least one temple on their way to different places in the country. These beautiful structures date back to the dynasties that ruled Thailand during ancient times. Each of them reflects the architectural splendor that prevailed in Thailand. Although many cities in Thailand are undergoing continuous modernization, there are some cities that still retain their ancestral roots, such as the city of Sukhothai, the ancient ruins preserved during the Kingdom of Siam in 1238.

The festivals are as exciting as their rich culture and history. These festivals are mainly obtained from religions and lunar calendar etc. Many travelers plan their vacations around these festivities to attend the experience and extract the true essence of the celebrations. One of the most famous festivals is Songkran, also known as the water festival.

Another essential feature of Thailand is its markets. You can never find such an amazing market in the world like Thai markets. Each of its markets has its own quirks, from the things they sell to the crowds they draw.

Thailand is also home to exotic wildlife. Khao Yai National Park is located in central Thailand. Throughout southern Thailand, there are so many beaches full of mischievous monkeys. Monkey Beach on ‘Koh Phi Phi’ is a famous hotspot for monkeys. Do not forget that it is not allowed to feed these animals! Likewise, the clearing of these tourist spots, which will abuse animal protection, is punishable.

Thailand is a land of manners and etiquette; a land of relaxation and debauchery, sympathy and pity, a land of happiness and without forgetting that the country is the land of ‘smiles’.
