High speeds
The new Belkin N750 DB is compatible with the recent 802.11n wireless standard with simultaneous dual band technology to allow you to connect both types of wireless clients operating in mixed frequency bands, whether it is 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands. For maximum data rate transfer, you can connect wireless devices that support the 5GHz band instead of the 2.4GHz band. The 5GHz band is relatively less interference and cleaner than the crowded 2.4GHz band .
The Belkin N750 router uses multi-beam antenna technology that provides maximum power at signal strength and greater distance coverage. The other two competitors use MIMO (Multiple-in Multiple-out) smart antenna technology that offers high speed coverage and greater distance. MIMO smart antenna technology is widely used in wireless devices to improve signal reception and minimize dead spots.
The router includes 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports for reliable, high-speed wired connections. New computers with a gigabit NIC adapter can take advantage of the router’s gigabit ports to support applications that demand a reliable wired connection, such as large data file transfer, video applications, and connection to application servers, eliminating the neck of bottle. WNDR4000, on the other hand, supports guest network on each band, which means it supports up to 4 SSIDs. Belkin supports 3 SSIDs, SSIDs in each band plus the guest network. The new Belkin N600 and N750 routers support four applications (other routers are not supported) including self-healing, video moving, print zone, and memory security.
