While many will claim that we are much better off living in the current state, surrounded by electronic devices and social media, there is no denying that when things were simpler, life was also much easier.
However, considering that time cannot be stopped, perhaps we should turn our attention to the pieces of technology (electronics, games, and gadgets) that have assumed such a vital role in our lives that, simply put, , we really would have a hard time living without.
The obvious choice here is to start talking about things like cell phones and Facebook, however, they are more like distractions than genuine sources of entertainment. You check your Facebook just to waste time, not to enjoy it!
Perhaps one of the most trusted sources of entertainment has always come in the form of video games. Whether you’re talking about gaming on an Atari, a PC, or even a PlayStation 4, the gaming medium has always been a staple in our lives when it comes to home media and our extended enjoyment.
Certain video game genres are known to come and go, but when you focus on the game styles that have enjoyed popularity and enthralled us for the longest time, you really have a hard time getting past simulator-style games, especially flight simulator games that sell incredibly well on PC.
