A perfect getaway to Malaysia all year round

I have lived in Malaysia since I was born and Malaysia is my homeland. In the past five years, I have traveled to many countries, and yet when I land in Malaysia again, I feel a certain joy and happiness. Let me tell you what are the simple things that make Malaysia so special and why you should come to bask in the sun, dance in the rain and lie on our beautiful beaches at least once in your life!

Let me start with the geography and climate of Malaysia. Malaysia sits comfortably on Earth’s equator, so it’s hot and rainy all year long. There is no holiday season in Malaysia: every month of the year is a good time for a vacation. Sunny days keep you warm and it usually rains at night. The night is cool but humid. The cold and windy highlands of Malaysia are concentrated in the center of the peninsula. The paradise islands are located in the northern and southern region.

One of the main attributes that make Malaysia a top tourist destination is its people. Most of the population here are Malays, who are Muslim in religion. The fact that they live in harmony with all other people of various cultures, religions and beliefs, makes the people here of great interest to the world’s population. If you were to go to any city in Malaysia, you would notice the church, the mosque and the temple, all within a stone’s throw of each other. People here live by being educated in other religions and beliefs, as well as respecting all of them. During major celebrations, don’t be surprised to see a Buddhist in a Hindu temple or Hindus in church. Malaysia practices guided democracy, in which every citizen has the right to practice the religion of his choice.

One thing for sure: every Malaysian loves Malaysia for its wide variety of delicious, delicious, tasty and delicious food! The northern region is known for its Thai, Chinese hawker and Indian-Muslim food. Many seek out the famous ‘nasi kandar’, which tingles your tongue from the get-go. Not only is it wide in variety, food in Malaysia is available 24 hours a day. You can drive and have a hot drink and ‘roti canai’ until midnight in many of the towns here. In places like Kuala Lumpur, the city center, you can find almost anything, from Korean and Japanese food to Arabic food. Come to Malaysia and have a feast and treat your taste buds.

My friends from the US and the UK always think that the best thing about this country is the shopping experience. Here they find exclusive items, in the sense that they don’t have to go to India for the most beautiful silk sarees, or are very reasonably priced compared to their home country. So when you come, travel light and be prepared to have excess baggage when you return.

Malaysia is a haven for those who want to experience new cultures, new traditions and travel to enjoy. Don’t set expectations, just fly in and enjoy the retreat! Welcome to Malaysia!
