Guide to skills for fire mages in World of Warcraft

This is a guide on wizards in World of Warcraft planning or what to learn more about Fire Build and its use of abilities. Now, I’m going to specifically go over Fire Build in this guide. I would go over all three, but that would make this guide quite long, and I want these guides to be as specific as possible about the topic at hand. As you may or may not know, the fire build relies on killing enemies extremely quickly, as mages are extremely fragile and die easily. There are some extremely powerful fire spells in this talent tree that are a must have for any fire mage, but you can’t get every skill, though you can reset at any time to test what works for you, but these are just the recommended skills . for building fire! Without any more preambles…

The first and most classic ability for any Fire Build is Fireball. At max range, he will deal 888-1132 fire damage and an additional 116 fire damage over 8 seconds at max range. You can get Improved Fireball to reduce the cast time of Fireball by 0.5 seconds. As a ribbon for any Fire Build, you won’t want to skip this. Ignite gives your fire damage spells a boost to critical hits, causing the target to take an additional 40% of your spell’s damage over 4 seconds at max range. Another solid talent.

Flame Throw increases the range of all fire spells, except Frostfire Bolt, by 6 meters at maximum range. Any mage knows that the more range you have to cast a spell, the less likely you are to get hit. Incinerate increases the critical strike chance of your Fire Blast, Scorch, Arcane Blast, and Cone of Cold spells by 4% at max range. It’s okay if you plan on going deep into the fire tree, but it’s not the best ability ever. 4% is not enough for me!

World in Flames increases the critical strike chance of your Flamestrike, Pyroblast, Blast Wave, Dragon’s Breath, Living Bomb, Blizzard, and Arcane Explosion spells by 6% at max range. I know it looks good, but, like Incinerate, it takes too many points for too little prize. Pyroblast deals 939-1191 fire damage and an additional 356 fire damage over 12 seconds at max range. I definitely need to get this spell.

Burning Soul reduces the knockback suffered from damaging attacks when casting fire spells by 70% and reduces the threat caused by your fire spells by 10% at max range. It is worth picking up for pvp situations. Scorch damages the enemy for 376-444 fire damage. Doesn’t that seem like a lot? Well, go for Improved Scorch. This ability will give your Scorch spell a 100% chance to make your target vulnerable to spell damage, increasing your spell critical strike chance against that target by 2% and lasting 30 seconds, stacking up to 5 times at max range. This is an absolute must for PvE.

Molten Shields gives your Fire Ward and Frost Ward spells a 30% chance to reflect the shielded spell while it is active. Additionally, your Molten Armor has a 100% chance to affect ranged and spell attacks at max range. It’s not a great skill, I’d skip it. Master of Elements allows your critical spells to refund 30% of their base mana cost. This spell refunds 30% of your spell’s critical hits in mana. You should get this.

Playing with fire increases all spell damage dealt by 3% and all spell damage taken by 3%. A classic double edged sword, it is best used for PvE situations. Critical Mass increases the critical strike chance of your fire spells by 6%. Are you kidding, a skill that increases the critical hit chance of your fire skills that doesn’t require as many points? Yes, get it!

Blast Wave damages all enemies caught within the blast for 616-724 fire damage, knocking them back and stunning them for 6 seconds at max range. Do you think that’s all? Well, one thing I haven’t mentioned is that most of your spells won’t cast instantly, but this one is! Another must have. Blazing Speed gives you a 10% chance, when hit by a melee or ranged attack, to increase your movement speed by 50% and dispel all movement slowing effects, effect lasts 8 seconds in the maximum range. It’s not that useful for leveling up or raiding, but it’s great for PvP!

Fire Power increases the damage dealt by your fire spells by 10% when at max range. Think of all the damage additions that have already been reviewed. This ability STACKS with them. Pyromaniac increases the chance to critically strike and reduces the mana cost of all fire spells by an additional 3% at max range. Does it reduce mana cost AND increase critical chance? Another great skill.

When Combustion is activated, this spell causes each of your fire damage spells to increase your critical strike chance with fire damage spells by 10%. This effect lasts until you have dealt 3 critical hits with fire spells. It’s good if you need a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Molten Fury increases the damage of all spells against targets below 35% health by 12% at max range. Anything that adds damage in any scenario is worth it!

Dragon’s Breath is an AoE spell that deals 680-790 fire damage to targets and disorients them for 5 seconds. Any direct damage attack will dispel the disorienting effect at max range. The spell isn’t the best, but if you have useful points, there’s no reason not to get it. Impact gives your damaging spells a 10% chance to stun the target at maximum range. A nifty spell for pvp or solo. Fire Blast damages the enemy for 925-1095 fire damage. Add Improved Fire Blast and the cooldown of your Fire Blast spell will be reduced by 2 seconds.

Empowered Fire increases the damage of Fireball and Frostfire Bolt by 15% at max range. A very nice increase in damage makes this talent unmissable. Well that will be enough for this Mage’s Fire Build Skills Guide, hope this helps!
